Gela is an exploration of mixed contrast approaches, seeking harmony in variety and embracing the discord of a playfully fluid angle of stress.

Inspired in-part by the funk and flare of 70s typography, Gela brings together naive blobby forms and confident incised details, with a laid-back attitude.

Designed for display, with diminutive ascenders and descenders, an enormous x-height, and oversized tittles and diacritics.

It is available in three optical sizes, with a variable version included when purchasing the family package.
